A Composer's Lament - Thursday Prompt Story [#10, 09/3/23]

Thursday Prompt Story: This week's prompt is... recycle
Well, I've so far participated in 9 consecutive prompts, and the current prompt does, in part, mean to reuse something, usually for another purpose... so I just reused all previous prompts I've participated in and stuffed it into one. Unfortunately, that does mean I had to sacrifice the 365 word limit imposed for this prompt, but I made sure to not go over double this amount.
Even more unfortunately for me, after editing and shortening the story, my final word count was... 727 words. I swear I can never, ever, EVER escape this number.
