Yes, she's Camicazi, heir to the all-women Bog Burglar tribe.
In many ways, Astrid (who was not in the books), bears similarity to her. For example, Camicazi's a brilliant fighter, and when Hiccup first meets her, she's quite violent toward him.
She's much bubblier than Astrid, though. And she's a resourceful thief.
