For months, rumors of a horrid beast taking up residence in a nearby cave have filtered
through the nearby village of Entholme. Hunters have had to trek further out just to find game
that hadn’t already been devoured or scattered in fear. Those who’ve been brave enough to
venture close to the cave this beast calls home have said radiates a noxious stink that they
attribute to masses of rotting flesh from old hunts. Few denizens of the small town have been
able to muster the bravery to step into the woods for fear of ambush. Even the hunters have
been unwilling to take such a chance, and in a town so docile, such folk are some of the few
able to wield a blade.
When Amber said she would set out and slay the beast, the rest of the village laughed.
Only by the time had she walked into the woods, adorned in a simple breastplate with a
shortsword at her hip, was she taken seriously. By then, however, the journey had already
started....
Commission made a while back by Doink Relating the adventure of his two OCs: Amber and Minella
