Don’t Know Much about History

Business had started to increase across the border, as more cargoes crossed the border between Colonial and Kashlanin space. This made Transcosm and its partner, Imperial Chartering, very happy. Some of the independent cargo shipping companies that did contract work with Transcosm were also happy.
The profitable flow of goods through Downtime Station meant higher pay and bonuses for Transcosm’s office there, which made Meredith and Fuji very happy.
“Working five days out of six – well, it’s not like the A Quiet Life,” the Komodo monitor remarked as his wife nursed their foal, “but it still gets exhausting.”
The golden palomino mare nodded. “Yeah, but it’s better than getting shot at.” Jinzi gave a soft burp as she released her mother’s nipple, and Meredith set aside the padd in her right paw to gently stroke her daughter’s head. “And there’s compensations. I can sit at the desk and nurse while I take calls.”
Fuji grinned and leaned over, kissing Meredith before giving Jinzi a soft nuzzle. The padd’s screen caught his eye as he straightened up. “Kashlanin?” He tipped his head and chuckled as he read the lines of glyphs. “Porn?”
“History,” his wife said with a grin. Fuji cocked his head and she pointed at the padd. “I needed something to read, so I started going through some of Kashlanin history – “
“They certainly have enough of it.”
Meredith grinned. “Yeah, I know. Well, this is sort of a dramatized piece from one of their sovereigns, Terzhin XXVII.”
“Terzhin the Glorious?” Fuji asked, and whistled. “That was pretty far back.”
The mare nodded. “All of the current branches of the Imperial Family are descended from him. He never married.” She winked at her husband. “Said he was ‘too busy,’ but that didn’t slow him down. He had over a hundred lovers.”
“Wow. How many kids?”
“Too many,” and they both chuckled. Meredith glanced at the padd and said, “You know, this has the option of being presented holographically, not as text. Care to watch it with me after we put Jinzi to bed?”
“Sounds like fun.”

True! Although there's a few little naughty stories I've picked up from reading over the years:
1. Roman emperor Elagabalus. That guy threw some great parties (today's the anniversary of his assassination).
2. French President Felix Faure, who famously died while getting the Oral Magic (Cf. Nelson Rockefeller's demise).
3. Warren G. Harding's shenanigans. You'll never look at closets quite the same again.

BLOODNOK:
Ah! Oh! I love a bit of Wagner. Now the whips! Yes! Yes! Oh! Ah! Let me have the swastika now, I like that. Oh! Yes! Ah! Now the steering wheel club followed by the...oh! Touch of Mahler that's it! Is it all over? What about the starters? Now then, this uniform goes back to Moss Bros tomorrow.
MILLIGAN:
Yes, sir. There is a deposit on it.
BLOODNOK:
Oh, that'll brush off, don't worry about that.
