I felt that way about Calculus when I took it, twice, in 1987-1988 (I was a straight A student, college Calc is the first course I ever failed...might have had something to do with living in LA, working full time graveyard at Disneyland plus doing an internship at KROQ, and driving my Vespa between...)
But when I took college physics in 2004, I found use for calculus, believe it or not. I couldn't remember the gravity equations (I took part 1 of physics in 1987, part two in 2004) so without even thinking about it, I derived it, meaning, I used calculus.
I still agree with the sentiment though. Killer course.
Oh yeah, and fun sketches. Practice makes perfect!
