As I mentioned in a previous piece, I like the idea of pairing Renamon and Lucario together. Granted neither Pokemon nor Digimon have an assigned gender by design, but I have a headcanon where they can each choose a gender which they can transform into, however, in doing so they forfeit their ability to evolve or digivolve. In my headcanon Renamon would make the change to a female while Lucario would change to be male. They still retain their physical abilities and their powers, but they gain new reproductive organs.
As I am sort of turning them into OC's I needed to come up unique with names for both characters. My first thought was to go with something like "Mona and Luke", but that sounds just way too cliche and easy. If you guys have any thoughts about what I should name them, let me know!
As far as their relationship, I'm not going to make them overly horny or lustful. They're more going to be a quiet and reserved couple that is just a bit beyond platonic. It only made sense since both characters in their original series' are martial arts types that are rather silent.
Overall I'm happy with how the piece turned out! Looking forward to making more content of these two!
