Back to games. Now we're getting into the stuff I'm really in to, the traditional JRPGs developed/published by Gust, NIS, and Atlus <3
One of the very rare times the all-powerful god that is NIS let me down. I probably -should- like this game, as its more or less a precursor to Disgaea, but... I dont. I hate this game >8C While the battle system of it is the same as Disgaea, there were little things about it that were different that just flat-out bugged me to no end.
The story itself was quite generic, too generic even and it wasn't played out the best it could have been. The characters were forgettable and the dubbing of this game was god-awful half the time. Not to mention its quite churchy... Disgaea just did all this way better and its pretty much a story of randomness and comedy, which says a lot about it's success.
I think my shikai is the appropriate means to take care of this.

ugh, I knooooow, right? D8 its like "Yeah! I kick ass! OOO secret stuff!!" *pwnd instantly* "D8!" And then you sit there dont the slow and monotonous lvl grinding for what... days? DX and then you manage only one and only one character survives, so you know theres no way you can do the rest without MORE lvl grinding! DX
Gasp, is that sound of NIS destroying the hopes and dreams of gamers. Why yes.. yes it is, it seem that they once again trying to bring something over or make something unique and ruin it.. this was one of them now before people think I am hating too, remind you that my job require me to know these games ask about and that means I check out games that sometimes people fear to tread. I did this when I was younger too, i am sure not many remember the classic gaming of "Shaq-fu" yea I played that.. so yes i have a standard and this game just didn't' cut it.. Soul Nomad and Phantom brave did a little better though. But the crusade goes, so funny you samurai people and your shape-shifting weapons..maybe one day you upgrade to a claymore or our classic longsword and tower shield.
NIS usually never does me wrong and they present me with lovely games that make me them tons more <3 But with every gaming company, they cant always do it the way I like and I get the occassional shitty game, but not their fault particularly. They have to keep trying new stuff to find what works and then keep on trying other new stuff =3
I love my katanas! They're all I need and their awakened forms allow for me to gain the edge in battle or just overkill if I already have it ;3 ONWARD!
