Something you might not know about me, I love Fuji, bigly. Cinder cone volcanoes in general, growing up in the ring of fire I just love looking at them, but Fuji especially, I very quickly fell in love on my trip to Japan.

Though we get many cherry blossom lined streets where I live in Vancouver, it's usually just that, street lining. For this set I was drawn to the idea of mountain viewing in spring time, I am unlikely to ever attempt visiting Japan for hanami (blossom viewing) as it's a very busy tourist season but I still like to think about it <3

Please note that I would like to keep this set respectful, I am not comfortable drawing characters in kimonos, though a basic plain yukata might be alright (the type of outfit worn at a traditional inn). I am a Canadian from British Columbia, the history of how citizens of Japanese decent were treated here during WW2 is pretty bad (internment camps, belongings and property seized unfairly). Want to keep this in the realm of 'appreciation' not 'appropriation'
