Have always loved your style. A question, are you working with real materials or digital? I'm old school, and love working with toothy or textured surfaces. The main problem I have with working a image tablet is the lack of tactile feedback, the drag of the pen,pencil, or brush on a surface.

You can get foils for both regular and screen tablets that have some grain to them, designed to simulate the feeling of paper. However, it makes the image also grainy when used on screen tablets (ipads, android tabs, cintiqs, etc) and increases the pen nib wear. just search for "paperlike tablet film" if you'd like to try it out.

At the moment I work purely digitally. It's fun to play with textures and styles. I understand you completely! Back then, I sketched traditionally and coloured digitally, as well as drawing purely traditionally. I never got used to graphic tablets, but drawing directly on the screen is something else and I got into it very quickly. I'm trying to scribble traditionally more again, don't wanna "unlearn" anything!
