Even with no one watching, keep drawing. Keep writing. Create, and don't worry about the numbers. You will improve and you will gain your following over time. Creation is a journey, it's not worth it to get caught up in your own negative tangle of thoughts. "This person is younger than me and they draw so much better than me." "This person can pay my rent with one commission or adopt." Be proud of them, see artists as equals even when they're not in your skill level. Don't spend your time grumping over the things you don't have.
