I really need to get out to the Cape sometime in the next two years. That's got to have been amazing to just step out and watch people go into orbit.

It was quite amazing. Particularly since I was there to see some of the last shuttle launches. You can watch the launches from relatively close up, and they're quite amazing. Well worth going.

It was great. I miss all of the launches, and the bowling alley. LOL

Lompoc is my home, and I'll never forget that.

Actually... Evening launches are for me. Just after sunset. Because then you get all the colors in the contrails, Idk if youve ever seen one, but its epic
