One episode had a “popular girl” try to ‘seduce’ one of the main characters, who dressed like a stereotypical nerd to do her homework under the guise or tutoring her.
Problem was, said character was an alien robot in disguise who ignored her advances and gently assisted her to do her own homework, giving praise when she got it right.
Through the experience, she actually learnt that there was more to her than just being “the pretty one”, that she could do other things, and she began developing feelings for the guy who first saw that she was more than just a pretty face. They soon started dating, despite him being considered a nerd. She never found out that he was a robot, and the show only lasted a season before it was cancelled.
