The last sunrays bathed the sky and streets and glowing orange. That human came up the roof to enjoy his after work hours following a long day in the office.
Standing on the edge of the building he hears a rustling sound. He turns around and sees that red dragon walking towards him majestically. The rustling sound that was heard emerged from the membrane of his wings tugged to his sides, rubbing on itself. He focused the human with his slitted orange eyes not breaking the contact.
The human does not move. Maybe because he's stiff with fear but maybe also cause the dragon seem to be very familiar. Like he knows him from the bottom of his heart. The dragon stops right in front of him, staring him right into his soul.
A dragon paw is pushed against the humans chest. A word emerges in the head of the human
"FLY"
The point the dragon touched blisters from heat. Big scales grow rapidly from the touched spot, covering his entire chest and belly. Wings sprouting from his back, ripping through the fabric of the shirt, growing fast. Webbing forming between fingers that rapidly elongate further. Paws explode out of the shoes merging 2 toes in the process. A thick tail pushes out of the back and swing uncoordinated against the ground.
The paw of the dragon still rests on the now scaleplated breast...
"First flight makes it permanent"
And pushes him over the edge.
Better learn fast. The way down is shorter then you think.

Nice concept. Basically just like Hulk transformation but with magic
Danger means imminent turning into beast... though the permanent effect is quite... harsh especially for a human that was used to live in his normal form for all life
Though it is better than to become a human equivavalent of cutlet on the concrete or asphalt
It sounds like an interesting start for a whole new story full of wild and amazing adventures
But plot aside the art itself is awesome - the whole expression on the face is genuinely screams of fear, surprise and even pain probably. Such a violent and fast transformation should be felt for real. And of course the whole image is cool and REALLY detailed
In conclusion it is safe to say that for the first time drawing the trasform-art it is quite amazingly well done

To not become said cutlet he has to accept the fate he was given and trust the emerging instincts of flight. The push is there to force the choice, the transformation itself was triggered by the touch of the feral.

As already said on twitter there this looks just awesome and has a lot of metaphorical energy in it and also shows things in a very interesting like. This meaningful drawing itself also turned out just very very well. I love the choice of perecpective which just shows enough of the dragon off screen to show to the ones which are more familiar who is sitting there and giving the free flight lessons. The same time the perspective allows for maintaining the focus on the action happening while the transformation in progress is just displayed in a very great stage to show it's progress.
In addition to that the great short-story here really helps the viewer to dive into the scene and get a bit more insight. It is written in a nice way which builds up the atmosphere together with the artwork. Reading it speaks to the heart...and soul.
In the fall a live will end...and as the mighty draconic wings will spread and catch the winds a new live will begin. This first flight will mark the beginning of the new...the true live. A live might be full of challenges...but also granting a freedom like no other.
When the last beams of the setting sun touch the scales...as you gain altitude and the familiar world below gets smaller and smaller as you rise into the darkening skies, dive into a whole ocean of stars where the moon is your companion in the night while you glide over the moonlit mountains and valleys and landscapes...just enjoying the feeling of ultimate freedom only dragons can really and fully comprehend...
In addition to that the great short-story here really helps the viewer to dive into the scene and get a bit more insight. It is written in a nice way which builds up the atmosphere together with the artwork. Reading it speaks to the heart...and soul.
