Known as Bouncers by earthlings, this weird species have a rubberduck-like body, two arms, a single leg and a seahorse-like head with three eyes. The leg is cylindrical and can retract and stretch in order to jump. Their skin is literally rubber while the skeleton is composed of a plastic-like substance. The head have no nose and the throat taste the air with each inhalation. The ears are located on the tail-tip. The brain is stored in a bone-clad hump on the creatures back (the head houses only eyes and mouth). An F-Xas can easily regenerate a lost limb or head. The circulatory system is decentralized; instead of a single large heart, F-Xas have several small hearts scattered through the body. Their blood is based on coboglobin, an oxygen-binding molecule based on cobalt, and they’re immune to carbon monoxide. The creatures excrete their waste through the mouth and the waste itself is made of a pearl-like substance. F-Xas reproduction is parthenogenetic and genetic diversity is achieved through an inbuilt gene-shuffling. They get drunk on engine oil.

The F-Xas is a hunter-gatherer feeding on both plants and meat. Due to their 360-degree vision, F-Xas are less paranoid compared to other species. Most F-Xaf languages share two grammatical quirks: the first is that there is no fixed word order, and the second is that there are no nouns (that is because the F-Xas see the universe as a succession of events and transitory qualities). Even if translated, an F-Xas conversation can be hard for aliens to follow. They have no sense of humor, and instead entertain themselves with pseudo-memories, making a memory more spectacular than it actually is. F-Xas mentality is based on a dividual system: a ’person’ consist of two individuals who have different but complimentary personalities. Except for working in pairs, F-Xas have individualistic minds otherwise.
F-Xas came from the planet Ee-j-F-brr and are the founders of the interstellar faction G-WrynnHak Ver-Fjala-Ral (the Progressionists).

The basic shape of the design (single-legged creature with sea-horse like head with three eyes) is inspired by a background alien from a Donald Duck comic but the other small physiological details are my own ideas. These are intended to be one of the most alien of the extraterrestrial species so I'm not even trying to make them look Disney-esque.
