Wolfy and John were having a great time in the land of Hyrule. They had used the Holorooms of the mansion to bring themselves into one of their favorite video games, and they had lots of fun exploring the world. They first herd goats at Ordan ranch, of which John had to keep Wolfy Shire from gobbling any of them up. They then had a run-in with some Bulblins and were separated for a bit. As John had to deal with the twilight, Wolfy was having a field day, gobbling up all the Bulblins that tried to capture him. So by the time they reunited in Kakariko, Wolfy was trotting in with his large belly touching the ground before laying down on John smugly. After that, the two of them were inseparable, with Wolfy Shire even attending the indoor sumo wrestling match to cheer his friend on, even as he failed repeatedly. Once that was done, and John spent some time with Wolfy to recover, they headed back to Kakariko, heavy Iron boots in hand, and heard a familiar loud horn. The two looked at each other, realizing what was happening, and rushed to the village as fast as they could.
When they arrived, John on Wolfy Shire's back, they saw King Bulblin there, on his large Bullbo, carrying one of the village kids into the air, gloating that he had them, before riding off in the other direction with a few of his soldiers. The two heroes were enraged by them and followed the monsters as they escaped. As they arrived at Hyrule field, they saw that the evil king tied the kid onto his large spear and taunted them for a fight. John instantly drew his sword, enraged at the evil king, who only smirked at the motion, and blew his horn. At that, a dozen riders came from over the hill, and the king started to ride off into the field. John and Wolfy then nodded to each other and rode toward them, ready to fight the king to the end.
John wasn't used to fighting on horseback, but Wolfy ensured he was fast and steady with his gallops. Most of John's swings of his sword never connected with the enemies, but he was able to hit some of the bulblins off their mounts, so he took what he could get. As he almost caught up to the king's mount, a flaming arrow was fired from one of the bulblin archers and was lodged right into John's shoulder, making him scream in pain. Wolfy saw that and was shocked, but as he saw the bulblin archer celebrate, he snorted steam, charged at the archer, and headbutted them off their mount. After they fell to the ground, all they saw was Wolfy's hoofs as he was trampled by them into a pancake. After Wolfy got his revenge, he checked on John, who was drinking one of his health potions, which healed his wound and got him ready to fight. At that, they continued their pursuit, knocking down more of the enemies before catching up to the king. They smirked as John was able to swing his sword at the king, knocking off bits of his armor, and the king briefly went limp from the pain before directing himself to the bridge. Wolfy and John continued to chase him, ready for the fight to finally end.
Once the pair arrived on the bridge, they jumped the wooden barricade just in time for an archer to use a flaming arrow on it, blocking them from turning back. At that realization, they turned ahead and saw the king on his mount, readying himself for a joust. Wolfy was also ready, with John holding his sword, ready to save the kid still hanging from the evil king's spear. And once the king charged, Wolfy charged as well, with John holding on for dear life. As they were only mere meters away, Wolfy veered to the side, letting both sides pass each other, with John slashing his sword at the king, hurting him, and removing the last of his chest armor. As both sides reached either side of the bridge, they turned around on the thin bridge and charged again, ready to end it once and for all. The king bulblin was anticipating their tactics, veering with them, but as they were mere feet from connecting, Wolfy quickly shifted to the other side of the bridge, giving John the perfect angle to slash the king's side. This blow sent the king flying off his mount, ending the fight once and for all. As Wolfy and John looked over the edge, seeing the monster fall into the lake below, Wolfy lifted his front legs up high, and John held his sword out in victory.
After the two of them enjoyed their moment, they sighed in relief that they weren't sent off the bridge. Even though Wolfy could have just turned into a flying Rodan, it was epic to do it like how the game staged it. After they calmed down, John got off of Wolfy, untied the rope that kept the child tied up, and walked with Wolfy back to the village. Along the way, Wolfy Shire felt a bit hungry and proceeded to gobble up the bulblins they had defeated earlier. By the time they got the kid into the village hotels bed to recover, he had a big belly filled with prey to take care of, so the two of them had gone up to the hot springs above the village and relaxed; with John lying down on Wolfy's big belly, and stayed up there for the night, letting their scrapes and bruises heal, and to ready themselves for the climb up the volcano in the morning.
