And she does have one person who knows her secret and accepts her, Ben. I'd say Ben knows her a lot better than Malik does. Malik's never talked to her, gotten used to her personality, seen her smile or laugh or cry.

Be reasonable, Lydia. Aliens aren't real. There's a perfectly rational explanation for your "missing time" and fuzzy memories. You got captured by a magic-hating cultist from a parallel universe and were rescued by a rabbit/horse/human creation from said parallel universe who's also the naive and confused girl with hoofboots you've hired as an employee and is also the superhero/cryptid that's been the talk of the town. See? Happens all the time! ^_~
