Back with more of the surfing trio:
The night has fallen, and the auction has begun, after several items which the trio are least interested were sold, it was time for the most important valuable item of all: the chaos emerald.
Asher: All right, people, our next item to sell, it's a rare chaos emerald!
Crowd: Oooooh!
Fox: There it is, Sou!
Sou: But where's Louis?
Asher: This emerald's one of the fews people found, it is said there are more of this kind, but since no one found more, this one's super rare! So, we begin with the value of this emerald of five thousand dollars, now, who wants to say five thousand five hundred?
Boy: Six thousand!
Asher: Six thousand for that bandicoot boy over there!
Lady: Six thousand hundred!
Asher: Six thousand hundred for that green haired lady over there!
Fox: I think we should start before he shouts "sold!"
Sou: But what if we don't have money? Louis hasn't arrived yet!
Fox: Unfortunately, we have no choice now, do we? I'll think of something...uh, seven thousand!
Asher: Seven thousand for that fox boy over here!
Sou: Eight thousand!
Fox: Sou! What are you doing?! We're in this together!
Sou: Sorry...
Asher: Eight thousand for that wolf guy there!
After minutes of raising the bid, it reach to a point where the green haired lady made her ultimate one, as Asher's ready to close the deal!
Asher: Two million five hundred for the green haired lady! Anyone else? Two million and a thousand at one!
Fox: Well, I guess this is it...
Asher: Two million and a thousand at two!
Sou: I hope she knows what to do with that emerald...
???: FIVE BILLION!
Suddenly, the crowd turn around in shock to see a muscular thylacine making the final offer, this time, not even the green haired lady could top this one now!
Asher: SOLD! To that muscular thylacine over there! It's yours!
And so, with Asher hitting the little hammer at the table to announce the emerald's been sold to the thylacine, Louis shows up and walks toward Fox and Sou, and just before Fox says something, Louis pats his shoulder while whispering in his ear: "You're welcome!"
Eventually, the two realized what Louis did, and with that, the emerald's now on their possession...but at what cost?
