Heyo! Today's TF adventure revolves around Theresa, a young woman who gets swooped up into a surprising but wholesome little transformation as she's given the chance to experience a very unique vacation. I hope you'll enjoy reading it, and thank you in advance for clicking on my story!
Trial Period
There was a knock on Theresa's door.
The unemployed homebody heaved herself off of her tiny apartment's couch and cocked her head curiously. No one was supposed to be coming over, and she hadn't ordered any food. Not yet anyway, though she was thinking she'd get a pizza later.
Figuring that it was just a salesman of some sort, she went to open the door with sour expectations, only to raise a brow once she was standing in the open doorway.
In front of her stood another woman, roughly her height and age -- around mid-twenties -- dressed in business-casual clothes and carrying a briefcase. The woman smiled at Theresa warmly.
"Uhm...hi?" Theresa muttered.
"Hello! Are you ready?" the woman replied cheerily.
"For what?"
"The trial of course!"
"The what?"
"You wanted a trial of our one-weekend package. Everything's included: the food, accommodations, and leisure activities."
"Oh?" Theresa raised a brow. This was starting to sound interesting. Even if the woman had the wrong address, she was being offered a free vacation, so she wouldn't say no.
Not that she ever really went anywhere or had any pressing tasks to take care of as is, but everyone loves some pampering. "Let's talk more in the living room."
She motioned for the woman to enter, which the visitor did before the two headed to the couch. Theresa’s apartment was a bit of a mess, to say the least. Various food wrappers and cups took up most of the space on the coffee table, and the desk in the corner which housed Theresa's PC was no different; its surface was covered in what might be charitably described as a ‘collection’ of empty soda cans. In spite of this build-up, she was only slightly chubby with a bit of a belly.
"Sorry, haven't cleaned up this week," Theresa chuckled awkwardly as she went to take a seat – but not before hurriedly brushing a few miscellaneous pieces of trash off of the seat opposite her. She gestured for her visitor to have a seat.
"Oh don't worry, that'll be taken care of as well," the woman smiled and took the seat, crossing her legs. "I'm Mia from BioArc Inc, by the way. Very nice to meet you."
"And I'm Theresa," Theresa replied. She couldn't help but think that BioArc was quite an odd name for a company that arranged vacations for unsuspecting people. But whatever. What did she care? Corporations could call themselves whatever they wanted.
"So, everything should be in place. The bigger necessities – food, drink, and such – will be brought here later today," Mia explained.
Theresa nodded, but she was a little confused. "That sounds fair! Only… does that mean I'll just be staying here?" she asked.
"That was the plan, yes. The apartment should be big enough."
So it was more of a catering thing wherein Theresa's needs would be seen to? A little less exciting than a vacation, but she wouldn't pass up the opportunity if it meant getting free food and whatever else.
"Right."
"So, we'll just need to prepare you, the client," Mia lifted her briefcase onto her own lap and opened it up, taking out an object that elicited a raised eyebrow from Theresa: dark blue strip of fake leather with a buckle on it.
A collar.
However, it looked somewhat sturdier than a regular dog’s collar. It was just a bit thicker. A bit heftier.
"And that's got something to do with it?" Theresa inquired, suspiciously.
"Of course! It'll be a fun experience, I assure you. I've been thinking of getting the trial package for myself at some point as well," Mia tested the weight of the collar on her palm before setting the briefcase aside. "Maybe you can give us some feedback once everything is over on Sunday." She held the collar out before Theresa, expectantly... "Go ahead and put it on."
Theresa herself stared at the collar for a few seconds. She wasn't getting into some weird kink thing, right? It didn't seem like it, as judging by the other things Mia had mentioned, this was the only real oddity.
"Oookay..." she muttered before cautiously placing the collar around her neck and fastening it securely.
"Perfect!" Mia nodded. "Now for the fun part, the calibration!"
"Wait, so this thing is mechanical in some way?"
"It is, but that's only part of it. There's nothing to be nervous about, you're in very good hands. So, what would you want the most out of the trial?"
"Uhm...relaxation and food, probably."
"Those are what I'd go for as well. Good picks," Mia chuckled and gave Theresa a small wink.
"Hehe, thanks," came an awkward response.
"The expectations have been covered, let's move onto behaviors." Mia grabbed a sheet of paper from her briefcase, which she gave a brief look at. Evidently a cheat sheet of some kind for her product-selling speech.
"Hmm. Let's say you're on a walk, and a stranger comes up to you to say hi. How would you react?"
Wait, what did this have to do with any of what was going on?
A visibly confused look took over Theresa's face, and she scratched her temple. "I'd just say hi to them in return, I guess?"
"Yes, but how would you do that?"
"I might wave at them or shake their hand, depending on who the person is."
Mia chuckled good-naturedly at the response. "Of course, but wouldn't you want to let them know how excited you are? You could wag your tail, you know."
"Excuse me?"
"Wag your tail. Or maybe if you were especially enthusiastic, wouldn't you jump a little bit, or perhaps bark?"
Now Theresa was losing any kind of understanding as to what was going on. "Why would I do any of those things? I'm not a-"
"A dog? Oh but of course you are. I just want to give your imagination some exercise," Mia said, staying in high spirits despite the extremely odd subject material.
"I'm a dog?" Theresa repeated the thought, only now realizing the connection between the conversation and the collar. Still, the exact purpose of it all was unknown to her.
"Yes! So think about it from that angle, how would you greet the stranger?" Mia nodded again, appearing to be quite excited about the progress being made.
"Well, IF I was a dog, I'd maybe wag my tail a little and give the person a sniff or two."
"That's very good, but there's no need to say 'if'. You're a dog now, feel free to embrace it."
"Look, I'm not really into this kind of roleplay. It's cute and all, but-"
"Oh no no, it's not roleplay. I'm just getting you ready and comfortable for the weekend ahead!"
"Sounds like roleplay to me, but alright. Ask your questions." Theresa crossed her arms and leaned back on the couch, giving Mia a skeptical look.
"I know it might feel odd at first, but I promise it'll help you enjoy your time that much more."
Theresa sighed briefly, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Was this worth going through this kind of weirdness? As long as it wouldn't last too long, then maybe. It seemed like Mia intended for it to be more like a beginning questionnaire anyway. Just bear with it...
"Fine, I'm a dog. Continue," she focused her attention back on the saleswoman.
"That's a start! Good girl," Mia smiled with utmost pride, and even though she should have been coming across as creepy in Theresa's eyes, the woman's attitude and words were so genuinely warm and kind that she felt only mildly irked for a second. No one had ever called her a good girl before, not like that.
"Uhm...thank you?"
"You're very welcome. Onto another question; what would you do if I did this?" Mia asked, only to reach her hand out toward her new client, as if she was offering her something, yet her palm was empty.
"Paw."
Theresa stared at the hand for a couple seconds in surprise. Paw? Well, if she was supposed to play the part of a dog now, the response that made the most sense was to place her hand atop Mia's own, which is exactly what she did with some hesitation. "I'd do...this?" she tilted her head slightly.
"Aww just like that! You're getting the hang of it!" Mia's tone was brimming with excitement, and she gently stroked Theresa's head, but only for a couple seconds. That seemingly innocent sensation caused a lovely warmth to spread throughout Theresa’s body. She could feel excitement brewing within, but it didn’t make sense – Mia didn’t even do anything special; she just touched her!
But despite how mundane the gesture seemed, it still caused a happy sensation of accomplishment to well up in her chest. This feeling in turn set off an even stranger reaction in Theresa’s body: she began to notice an odd tugging sensation right above her rear… Right where her tailbone is located. Bewildered, Theresa waited, curiosity and excitement bizarrely outweighing any sense of self-preservation or fear. The tugging sensation continued, as if somebody was pulling directly at the flesh of her tailbone, attempting to extract something… But no. The reality was far stranger.
Within a minute, something sprung forth, rather painlessly, from her tailbone – something small and fleshy! Without her noticing, a tiny nub of a tail had just sprouted from her backside!Though its length didn't exceed even a couple inches yet, it did its absolute best to wag from side to side while the nub itself slowly sprouted dark fur.
Miraculously, Theresa didn't seem to be aware of this change, but she blushed all the same.
"O-okay! What's next?"
"Another question. What would you do if you were home alone, let's say napping in the living room, when someone rings the doorbell?"
"I'd go and open it."
Mia chuckled. "Remember that you're a dog."
"Oh right! Umm...I'd go to the door and wait for someone else to open it?"
"Very good! So, the visitor would end up being a family friend you really enjoy spending time with. How would you say hi to them?"
Though she didn't vocalize them, some very unexpected thoughts ran through Theresa's mind as she tried to picture the answer in her mind. She wanted to bark at the person in excitement, to jump against them and wag her tail! She scratched her temple again.
"I'd give them a few sniffs too?"
"Is that really all?" A knowing look appeared in Mia's eyes.
Theresa stayed quiet for a few seconds.
"No," she muttered, looking decidedly embarrassed.
"Come on then, give me the details. It's okay, I promise."
"I'd bark and jump at them." Theresa's blush spread steadily until it covered her face, and her new tail kept on growing all the while, reaching a length of several inches. Luckily her loose sweatpants allowed the tail to grow rather freely, and soon it peeked out of the waistband as it continued to wag.
"That's much better. Oh and it looks like you're making some physical progress as well," Mia smirked and nodded toward Theresa's backside, prompting the woman to turn her head. The sight of the fur-covered limb quickly stopped any and all of her movements, and she simply stared before she looked to Mia cautiously.
"I have a tail?" Theresa asked, with a surprisingly calm tone.
"Of course you do, and look at how pretty it is! What would a dog be without a tail?"
That...kind of made sense? If Theresa was supposed to be a dog now, it was logical for her to have such an appendage. Still, the sight of it puzzled her while it wagged from side to side at a steady pace. Reaching back, she ran her hand over it and the dark fur that covered it, finding it to be remarkably soft and pleasant to the touch.
"Right," she muttered as she still processed that thought. She felt like her reaction should have perhaps been more visceral, but the sight of the tail just felt like it was meant to be there.
"Aww it's wagging!" Mia giggled. "I think someone's getting excited. You're a happy pup, aren't you?" she reached out to stroke Theresa's cheek, causing her client's tail to wag even faster.
A feeling of sheer happiness surged into Theresa's mind, flooding her body with serotonin in levels she'd never experienced before. She giggled, and suddenly her worries and concerns felt all so distant, she didn't need to save any space for those in her brain for now. Maybe later, but right at this moment she focused on how nice the attention from the saleswoman felt.
"I guess I am," she then said while Mia pulled her hand away, resting it on her own lap again.
"That you are. You'll have lots of fun, I can tell." Mia smiled, allowing her client to have a moment to recover from the eruption of feel-good chemicals before she glanced at her document again. "You'll be ready in no time. Now, let's continue." She briefly cleared her throat after speaking.
"Respond with the first thing that comes to your mind. Speak."
Theresa was about to simply open her mouth and utter a word or two, but a wave of realization washed over her, stopping her in place. Even Mia would have been able to see that she was thinking intensely, with the metaphorical gears in her head turning.
As she scoured her thoughts for an answer, something in her throat itched briefly. However, this immediately brought the answer to the forefront!
"Woof!" she immediately barked, or at least attempted to, as the sound came out as an imitation of a bark. It made Theresa freeze momentarily all the same, as the vocalization was in any case eerily close to sounding authentic. Was this an untapped, hidden talent of hers? To make dog sounds?
"Rrgh..." she tried to clear her throat just like Mia had done a moment prior.
"Don't worry, the vocal cord changes won't take long. I know it can make you sound a bit funny," Mia chuckled.
"Wait, so...I won't be able to talk soon?"
"That's correct, but it's only temporary. You'll return to normal quickly and painlessly when the trial is over."
The small crumb of hesitation was enough to bring the woman pause. Things like this weren't really normal, were they? Turning someone into a canine, it was just...weird. No, it should have been impossible! Her consciousness scoured these thoughts, finding more and more small tears in the blanket of glee that covered such ideas. The effects of it had pushed her worries aside very effectively, but now that she focused on it, her eyes widened.
That's when reality crashed through the bliss that Theresa had been feeling. She was turning into an actual dog, and now her thoughts were quickly being overwhelmed with the fear of losing herself to it. What Mia had done to her had felt good, she wasn't denying that, but something like this was just too out there, too drastic. Now that the effects of the bliss-inducing physical attention had mostly worn off, she found her breathing picking up in pace.
Mia blinked in surprise as her expression became one of immediate concern.
"H-hey, it's okay," she spoke in her best reassuring tone, but Theresa was starting to whimper like a puppy who'd been left home alone for the first time. Her eyes were becoming teary on top of that, and so Mia quickly moved from her seat to kneel in front of her client, one of her hands coming to rest on Theresa's cheek while the other gently stroked her hair.
"You're alright, you're alright," she whispered, and the longer her fingers ran through Theresa's hair, the more the dog-woman's breathing steadied.
"There we go, good girl."
Theresa wiped her eyes with the backs of her hands, still sniffling. Something in Mia's voice awakened that happy warmth in her mind again, and she tried her best to hold onto it.
"I'm a dog," she whispered, as if she was clarifying that point to herself with a slightly wavering voice.
Were the emotions of dogs really this easy to influence? She'd been swaying back and forth from a worry-free elation to a sudden, almost soul-crushing sensation to anxiety, so she felt a bit tired, to say the least.
"The cutest one around," Mia smiled and carefully ran her thumb against the corner of Theresa's eye to get rid of the last of the tears.
"It's fair to be nervous about it, it's new to you I bet."
"Yeah," Theresa nodded and swallowed the urge to cry back down. "Will you...be here until it's all finished?"
"Of course I will, that's part of my job. Besides, I can already tell that you'll be the most adorable pup," the saleswoman stroked her client's cheek a little more, but after a handful of seconds, she lowered her hands and took a gentle hold of Theresa's own.
"I'll help you. See these cute little paws of yours?" She slowly lifted the other woman's hands an inch or two.
"I do."
"Don't you think they'd look much better with a soft fur coat on them?"
"They'd at least look more like actual paws." Some of the strength was gone from Theresa's voice, but she wasn't a whimpering and quivering mess anymore. She could take this on, as long as she had help.
"Mhm. Try to focus on how they might look with fur, and maybe even claws and paw pads, hm?"
Theresa took a deep breath. "I can try."
Mia then watched with an encouraging smile as Theresa closed her eyes and focused, picturing in her mind's eye what her hands might look like if they were covered in a blanket of fur, similar in color to her brand-new tail. On second thought, it sounded pretty cute. Maybe Mia was right?
Indeed, Mia herself now got to witness as tiny pinpricks were appearing all over Theresa's hands and arms, pinpricks which quickly grew to be strands of dark-brown fur. First it came in as small tufts, spreading a pleasant warmth over the woman's limbs as the same thing began to occur over her feet as well. They were to be her paws as well, after all.
"Just like that!" Mia cheered, but Theresa kept her eyes closed as she focused still, barely able to feel the fur growing upon her skin that brought with it other changes. Almost imperceptibly, her entire frame was losing size, slowly but surely causing her clothes to feel that much more baggy to her.
With increasingly focused thoughts, Theresa was able to feel how the fur-coat on her limbs puffed up with a wonderfully dense undercoat to boot, though this quickly brought a few beads of sweat onto her brow.
"Ah, uhm...feeling a bit warmer than I expected," she muttered, to which Mia chuckled again.
"And how does a dog adjust their body heat?"
Theresa opened her eyes slowly. "Panting?"
Upon looking down, her eyes might as well have resembled dinner plates as she stared at her limbs for a handful of seconds without blinking.
"I...I really do have fur! Oh my god!"
"Very very soft fur, I might add," the saleswoman smirked, quickly brushing a couple fingers against the back of Theresa's hand.
"They're not paws, though. Just normal hands and feet," Theresa cocked her head to the side.
"You know what to do, then."
A soft blush spread onto the first woman's cheeks all over again, and she nodded. Right, right.
Closing her eyes, she began to think. What would having paws feel like? She of course knew what they looked like, but was that enough? She could only try, really.
Paws, paws, paws. That's what she had to focus on, as she tried her best to recall the shape and anatomy of them. She'd seen innumerable dog videos online, so while it wasn't too hard, the sensations that followed this almost snapped her out of her concentration.
Mia got to witness how Theresa's fingers soon began to morph, shrinking and gaining an all new shape as they slowly became a set of cute little paws. The whole process was incredibly smooth and luckily painless, on top of being incredibly fascinating for the saleswoman to watch, and she even adjusted her gentle grip as Theresa's digits reshaped themselves into something more appropriate for the weekend ahead.
Of course, fur was quick to cover up the paws, making them black with blotches of white around the tips, which the new black claws accentuated nicely. With a brief glance downward, Mia confirmed that this same transformation was being undergone by her client's feet, which currently resembled paws much more than feet. She couldn't help but let out an adoring "Awww" at the sight.
In only a handful of seconds, Mia's finger tapped against Theresa's shoulder.
"Take a look," she smiled, and the other woman's eyes opened with a small flutter of the eyelids.
"W-woah," she gasped, but not in terrible surprise. If anything, she was more so impressed with what she'd just done, as her paws were absolutely perfect, down to the fact that the newly-aligned joints wouldn't allow her to move them sideways at the wrist.
"I did that?"
"All by yourself!" Mia congratulated the dog-woman, giving her a quick scratch behind the ear again as a reward. "You're doing such a good job."
Theresa's still-human tongue flopped out of her mouth at that instant as she began to pant in glee, taking the affection and attention with utmost gratitude.
"Now that you reminded me..." Mia smirked slightly, remembering the aspect of the transformation that their conversation had cut short. And so, instead of pulling her hand away, she continued giving Theresa ample scratches, running her hand from her ears to her chin.
"Who's a good girl? You are!"
Theresa herself couldn't be any happier about the attention, as her tail wagged a mile a minute. Mia thought she did a great job! How awesome was that!
It wasn't perhaps too much of a surprise, then, that proportional to the happiness she felt, her face began to change. The first part of her features to receive the transformative treatment was her tongue, as the more she panted, the flatter and larger it became. It felt a bit...unwieldy in her human mouth, but that was quickly being rectified as with some subtle but noticeable shifts, her bones and ligaments were moving to form a canine muzzle.
A thoroughly satisfied expression played at Mia's lips while her fingertips guided the transformation somewhat, allowing the muzzle to grow out and reach its full size. But she didn't stop there, as she soon showered Theresa's ears with the same affectionate treatment again. They flicked in a distinctively canine manner, only to sprout fur in the next instant as they started their journey to the top of her head. This occurred over the span of about a minute, during which she was effectively lost in pure bliss of getting all of the ear scritches she could ever want.
Even one of her legs responded to the stimulation, thumping against the floor happily.
Mia giggled, enjoying how happy her client was now that she'd allowed herself to be engulfed by the transformation. It wasn't an uncomfortable experience, after all.
"You'll love it so much," she spoke, cooing as if she was speaking to a toddler.
"We can play some fetch when we're done, and then I'll give you lots of treats!"
"That's...mmhhrghh...so amazing..." Theresa responded, and her voice immediately told Mia that her client was quickly losing her ability to speak.
"It is," the saleswoman nodded. "Also, it's good that you were sitting down already. I don't want you to fall over," she chuckled. Theresa's spine was being changed as well, meaning that the woman likely couldn't stand up anymore, but her current position on the couch kept her comfortable for the moment nevertheless.
"Mrr...ruff!" Theresa's reply came just as the scratches moved onto her sides, which were sporting perhaps the thickest covering of fur thus far. This gave way to what were the last stages of the transformation, which encompassed the rest of Theresa's skeletal structure and musculature.
Mia knew that she wouldn't be staying here for long, as other trained employees would take over from here soon enough and take care of Theresa for the weekend. That must have been a pretty awesome gig, she mused.
Still, she could entertain her client for a few moments before she had to leave, that was something she was sure of. Besides, it was fun.
"That's right," she returned to talking to Theresa, even though the conversation would be strictly one-sided now. "A couple days of fun and lots of sleeping, that sounds so nice."
While she talked, the other woman's ribcage shifted with undulations underneath the skin that Mia swore would have felt uncomfortable, yet Theresa didn't complain even slightly. The overall shape quickly became rather barrel-like, and similar changes were being experienced by the woman's hips and whatever other small areas remained. Importantly, her hips locked into place with a light tug, meaning that she was just about finished becoming a wonderfully cute husky.
"Let's get you off the couch," Mia spoke, guiding Theresa by lifting her gently -- as much as she could anyway -- and setting her onto the floor while also easing her out of the now-oversized clothes. "There we go, good girl."
Theresa blinked, feeling...surprisingly comfortable. One would think that her mind would have been taken for quite a ride the instant the changes were over, but no. She felt fine. It did take her a few seconds to realize why she couldn't stand up even though she commanded her muscles to do just that, and she gave Mia a look. Her eyes were a pale blue color now, not to mention how striking her stare was.
"Do you feel alright?" Mia asked with a smile.
In lieu of speaking, Theresa nodded.
"No nausea or discomfort?"
She shook her head.
Mia's smile widened, and she clapped her hands together a couple times.
"You're all done then! The caretakers should be here any moment now. But before I gotta go, I'll fulfill my promise," she grinned excitedly, digging into her briefcase to pull out a ball. A basic tennis ball.
Theresa had seen them maybe a billion times during her life, but now, the sight of it made her tail wag like mad.
"Just don't tell my boss about it, okay? Technically I shouldn't be playing around on company time," Mia winked at the dog, chuckling before she held up the ball and gestured with it right at Theresa.
"Do you want it? Does Theresa want the ball?" she spoke in an excited manner, just the right way to get a dog absolutely hyped.
Theresa, for her part, barked and assumed a playful stance with her head held low while her wagging tail was held high up in turn.
"Fetch!" Mia threw the ball, and Theresa took off in less than a second while the ball was still sailing through the air. She barked excitedly, tail wagging the entire time before the ball landed near the front door. It bounced against the wall, a ricochet which allowed her to catch the ball in mid-air with a small hop. This was so much fun!
"You did it!" Mia cheered, getting up from the chair to come over to Theresa to ruffle the fuzzy fur on her cheeks. "Wanna do it agai-"
DING DONG!
The sound of the doorbell ringing stopped her in her tracks, and both her and Theresa turned to look at the door itself.
"Ah that must be the caretakers," Mia smiled, getting up and opening the door.
Sure enough, the person at the door was the exact one she was hoping for: Ben, a caretaker she'd been introduced to before she headed off for this job. The man wore no discernible company clothing, but Mia recognized him easily nevertheless, but there was something off. His expression was thoroughly confused.
"Mia? Why are you here?" the almost middle-aged man asked.
"Huh? I was preparing the client like I was supposed to," she replied, raising a brow. "A very sweet client, too."
She gave Theresa a smile before returning to the conversation with Ben.
Ben's expression had changed from confusion to very clear worry.
"How do I say this..." he muttered. "You've got the wrong apartment."
Mia's heart sank and her eyes became as wide as dinnerplates in an instant.
She looked down at the fully-transformed Theresa, then at Ben again.
"I...what?"
"Yeah," the man rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Your client was next door. Apparently they'd called customer service a couple times, saying you were late."
Mia rubbed her own face, drawing in a deep breath. "No no no no..."
She then looked at Ben again while she gestured at Theresa.
"I already...used it on her."
"Ah fuck," Ben gritted his teeth, but he was clearly trying to look as calm as possible even if his attempt wasn't entirely perfect.
"It won't wear off for a couple days still. Are you okay, miss?" he looked down at Theresa, who was still wagging her tail. The expression on her face was a very curious one, but she nodded.
In fact, she felt great! But if she wasn't the intended client, then who'd be taking care of her?
Mia was busy thinking about that very same question, rubbing her own forehead vigorously.
"Ben, I have some unused PTO. Run the procedure with the correct client, I'll take care of Theresa here," she gestured at the husky while speaking in quite a serious tone of voice. Still, Theresa could notice some weariness in it.
"If you're sure," Ben nodded, shifting his weight from one leg to another. "If we get sued, just be aware that you'll be the one at fault."
"I...know. I know." Mia nodded, crossing her arms before looking down at Theresa briefly.
"Well, if that's what you want to do, I'll leave you to it. Best of luck, I suppose," Ben nodded in return at Mia and walked off to the other apartment. In the silence that followed, Mia wasn't too sure about what to feel. Worried? Scared? She should have perhaps been feeling both of those emotions, and she certainly was. Yet they weren't as strong as she would have feared.
"I'm really sorry, I should have been way more thorough and careful," she soon said to Theresa while she closed the door.
"But...you won't sue me, right?"
From what she could tell, Theresa smiled at her...and shook her head. She was having way too much fun to care about that! She just wanted to get back to playing fetch!
This caused a smile to grow onto Mia's lips quickly.
"I owe you, seriously."
The saleswoman took a deep breath and steadied herself before smiling again.
"Now, how about those treats?"
