It was a sick day, so that meant I could get some work done on my commissions lol.
So here is the commission for my good friend
serious-stripes. We're good buddies, we bowl together lol He's so awesome, go talk to him if you don't know him yet lol.
I really like how the lineart turned out so I wanted to try doing some different shading style. I'm not use to soft shading but I gave it a shot. Let me know what you guys thing and if you like I might try it more often.
The glow was fun, just hope I did it right lol.
Anyway, hope you all like.

Very nice style and the design is just stellar. I love the coloring you use in this and the content to go with it was just great. Im an old school Tron fan. The way the character is posed and his over all design is jsut lvoely. I love that blue on orange effect you got going on in this pic. It just draws my eyes around well they are focused on teh blue of teh cahracter.
why thank you so very much. the coloring was something new I was trying because I'm not use to doing too much softshading. And I'm glad you like the design, I wasn't sure on the outfit so I was making up stuff for it lol ^^; and I wasn't sure about the orange at first because that's not the color of the gird but in the end I caved and I'm glad you really like it *^-^*

Your welcome. You did real good especially for making the suit as you go. I mean just a few small things mising like the back area for the disk but meh, no biggie. For tyring something new it worked out well for you. Keep practicing with it and using it and you'll improve even though it doesnt seem you need to.
