Let's introduce the brand new platform SP#2 codenamed "Cruiser" with the following new features :
New power supply operating with the following new power ratings, thanks to the UltraDense PMIC:
- 16.5 MW at 25 kV AC 50 Hz,
- 12 MW at 15 kV AC 16 2/3 Hz,
- 7.2 MW at 3 kV DC and
- 3.6 MW at 1.5 kV DC.
This platform is now compatible with most modern short range and long range telecommunication systems, including but not limited to NFC, LoRa, WiFi (and WiGig), LTE. The network stack is also compatible with new DTN and IPN recommandations, based on RFC 4838.
The CryoMPUs has been replaced by the AmbiMPUs with PACA (Programmable Analog Computing Accelerator), most thermal management subsystems have been made solid-state and a new multi-layer thin-deposition surface coating has been used to allow a wider range of operating conditions:
- the operating temperature range is now 50 K to 1500 K,
- the operating pressure range is now from 0 atm to 20 atm and
- the radiation resistance has been raised to higher radiation flux.
And of course, the platform is still compatible with the Kastellian Computing Model (KCM), allowing to run the Reks Lih Hardware Abstraction Layer (RL-HAL), with an important amount of low-layer software and hardware optimizations.
