...GET AWAY FROM MY TREE.
An Angha, done for the Alphabestiary (http://alphabeastiary.blogspot.com/) project a couple of months late. I encourage everyone to join in, there have been some neat entries and even if you aren't accepted onto the blog, do it anyways.
Anyways, this was an hour here, an hour there, it's been on my hard drive for the last month sort of thing. Since it's my first real day off since October and I spent the first half of today working through one of the commissions on my ever-waiting queue, I figured it was time to finish this. I'm not sure I like it all that much, but it'll do.

Ugh your work rocks. WTF id yell at you for being awesome but, that means less awesome to view. The expression and subtle shift in colors is great, as well as merging feathers and fur together making it rather difficult to tell when one starts and the other ends. The thicker "cheeks" makes me think of a cobra or snake, while the muzzle doesn't detract from the face overall. Foreshortening rocks too, giving it a lot of life and movement. Keep up the great work.
