I know this feeling. When i turned 24 thats when i started feeling "old". I looked at it as "Well next year im 25, and then i'll always be closer to 30 rather than 20" But know what? It gets better! I'm 33 now and i couldnt care less about my age! "You're only as old as you feel" is a common phrase, and it's kind of true! Dont worry about time moving forward, enjoy the moment you're in! Have fun! Go to conventions! Meet people and just enjoy yourself ^^ It's never too late to have fun <3
I don't feel old. I know I'm still young. But the world around me is dying and I'm afraid I won't even make it to 80, if that Willow Project thing happens by 2027, heck, will I even make it to 50..? Will ANY of us? The more technology and social media grows, the more miserable the world gets. Everything was better before and it will always be, by the time I'm 30 I'll think my 20's was better. I don't think I'll ever be able to enjoy life as it is now. Every year is worse. And the older I get the faster the years will pass by.
I do have fun at times though don't worry, I go to cons and visit friends. I just think birthdays are such a heavy reminder of all this. I'll be ok

It sucks to live in a time when humanity is/will be going through so much upheaval. Things are changing so fast. Those things that brought us peace and grounding in the past are being eroded. Everything feels uncertain, and the future feels dark. But we are all in this together, and it will be a wild ride, so try to enjoy it. :) Easier said than done I know. Every person's survival rate is ultimately zero, which I find comforting. Just do your best, and try to stay true to your principles. Even in a crazy world, you can always take comfort in knowing that you are living according to your own moral code.
