Commission for my friend 
furronymousmann01 - thank you so much for your custom :D - this is one of my favourite commissions I've finished recently, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. :D
This is my friend's headcanon for what happens if you run out of time during Demyx's boss fight in Kingdom Hearts 2 - Demyx sneaks off while you're distracted by his water forms. XD
I had fun putting in the details like Sora, Donald and Goofy's attacks here (still baffles me why Water forms are weak to Fire XD), and of course, the water effects, and of course Demyx's sneaking. XD

I'm guessing that the water clones are weak to fire because the fire is hot enough to boil them away, turning them into harmless water vapor. In this sense, the weakness to fire makes sense to me. Fire and water would be weak to each other but in different ways.
Water can smother a fire but if the fire is too hot and intense, it'll boil the water away instead. Grease and oil fires also can't be stopped by water, and blow torches can make fire under water since the fire's fuel is protected from water contact.
