Buried within the farthest depths of Eterna's history lies a primordial plant, once regarded as the guiding authority of the land, acting as a spiritual, metaphysical and governmental all-seeing eye. It gifted peace to those afflicted with madness, bringing even the most self-tortuous and foregone psychologies into perfect clarity. A race of Selves with no inner disturbance, working in perfect unity and clarity with a common goal. No corruption, no malice, no hatred, and yet... something was missing. Something that, even with their flaws, made each individual unique that this root could not replicate.
The influence of the lyminate root was, at one time, inescapable. Absolutely nothing resisted it's grasp. It was likely in control for a very long time.
And then - somewhere between the Old World and New Eterna - lies a massive gap of forgotten history. At some point, it had been utterly defeated and sealed away, it's shiny black roots no longer gracing the ancient land of Eterna. It's no mystery that much of early Eternan history has been forgotten, but the theory goes that lyminate brought enchantment to Eterna, blessing us with the gift of magick. It's simply unfortunate that no actual evidence exists to suggest what became of this world and it's people.

Trying out a newer lyminal design that's a combo of both old and new. Really going hard on the plant-like nature of it, plus it's a bit more grayish.

Considering the original source of latex in the real world (derived from the sap of 'the rubber tree', Hevea brasiliensis), I think its very appropriate and fitting that lymniate has its roots in plants~ Like weeds, corruption will spread if a garden, a world, is not tended to regularly and properly. and once the weeds are there, they become very difficult to get rid of~ Wonderful work C~
