Yay, yay, yay! It’s my ‘Star Day’.
The theme for this year is Snowdrop. This ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ fan animation was made by Silly Filly Studios (SFS) approximately ten years ago. It is truly how time does fly and how one work in the creative arts can make such a life changing impact.

This was done by ‘Wayward Pony’ who, to this day, remains a valued member and advocate for all that Coping With Limitations Through Pony stood for since its start in Fall 2013. It is ‘Silly Filly Studios’ original animation and voicework with an added audio track, provided by ‘Wayward Pony’, to allow those, like Snowdrop, the ability to see what is happening visually through the narration of unspoken content.
This version of Snowdrop was made with the permission of SFS along with the voice actor and writer of Snowdrop, Meredith Simms.

This was one, if not the, very first first commissions that 'Doodle Noodle' drew for me. I really enjoyed taking it to BronyCon 2013, meeting the people who made Snowdrop during their panel, and getting this image signed by Snowdrop's VA and writer, Meredith Simms. (I think the YouTube video of my son and I participating in this panel is still available. Maybe I can find a way to better share this so folks can see me from over 10 years ago with my, at the time, 6 year old son.). :)
Snowdrop is what made me a dedicated Brony who was excited to use 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' to show how the arts can help people from all backgrounds and different abilities to come together and be friends. I hope to continue this effort through the Patreon and other opportunities that may present themselves.
MLP: FiM made it possible for us to become friends and its influence will certainly assist us in being the best we can be as we go on to further interact with the world around us.

Hehe the video you describe should be really really cute and nice. I'll look for it later. I'm sure it is going to be awesome nwn
You're right. The brony fandom has a really big "magic" or making amazing things. That's why I, for example, love to participate on yearly's Derpibooru's collab. It is really like magic for me nwn
And yes, Snowdrop is really cute and amazing idea. I'd to be amazing to meet the creators!

*Snugs* Thank you so much, Saphy! I have thought of you, Wayward, and Doodle lots-and-lots as I've taken efforts to keep depression and anxiety from ruining all in which I can be doing with all of you.
I still have your submissions saved in my [SUBMISSIONS] section of FA. I hope to get to them more sooner-than-later while, eventually, returning to Fall, Pint, and Bucky.

Hehe I hope Star Day went well! :3 15 is a ton! Cute Yosh, yoshi plush, and ponies! It was a big video that effected you a lot and definitely seemed to help you make your way through everything you were going through at the time. :3 And it's definitely best to keep in mind the characters you like and how they'd feel and help you! Of course all these cuties would want to help keep Yosh smiling. :3
I absolutely love Derpy Hooves and Snowdrop, this is delightful!! After looking through your page, I'm realizing how beneficial it would be to start adding image descriptions to my artwork. I previously had the idea that there wouldn't be much point in adding descriptions since people unable to see wouldn't get to see what I crrated. But I can see how narrow minded this was of me as a seeing person to think. I'm excited to have found your account, you have a delightful and positive attitude!
It makes me super-happy to hear your thoughts on providing 'Alt Text' to your submissions. There are so many ways that adding descriptions to your work can not only benefit those with low vision, or whom are 100% blind, but those who have no visual impairments, too.

An example of making 'Alt Text' work for everyone would be to make a story out of the description. This allows you to share a bit more about your art without feeling like providing the 'Alt Text' / 'Visual Description' is extra work.
Let's use a picture of Derpy Hooves for example. (I still had some eysight when the TCG released the Bronycon promo for Equestrian Mailmare.).
Derpy Hooves, a grey coated, pegasus mare, is flying above Ponyville as she goes about delivering everyone's mail for the day. Her blonde mane and tail are being blown by the wind as she proudly carries her mailbag while wearing her official mail pony uniform. Hopefully she doesn't misdeliver any pony's mail during her route today.
This is generic, but it is telling a story while being 'Descriptive' to someone who may not have much, if any, eyesight to physically enjoy the effort you put into your post.
Another fun part of using 'Alt Text' with images is that, on sites like "Twitter", you have more characters available to use in your 'Alt Text' than you do in a single Tweet. (1,000 characters certainly allows for more sharing of what, how, and why you created a piece of art than, I think, around 250.).
There is also how you can embed a description of your art within the image file itself. I don't know how to explain this without having Text-To-speech / Screen Reading software to help share an example, but any image uploaded to a web site can have descriptive text built into it that can only be seen if the viewer has a screen reader, like JAWS, or hovers their mouse pointer over the image to make the embedded text appear. (This form of 'Alt Text' was what I could do when I still had enough eyesight to help maintain a small business' web site. I believe you can input this text through opening either the "File Properties", or "Image Properties".).

Thanks so much for taking the time to review my work and see how, despite having gone from nearly blind to completely blind, you can still find joy in the arts. :)

Thank you so much for your feedback!! This was really helpful and very kind of you to put the time into to write! I have added detailed descriptions to about half of my drawings on this site, and I'd like to start applying them to Tumblr and other sites as well! Typing detailed descriptions out has made me start to miss writing stories, maybe I'll have to start doing this as well haha. I hope you take care today, Yosh-E-O!
