Week 10's runway theme: Rip Her To Shreds
This week's theme calls for a torn up, shredded, or otherwise tattered look. I decided to make Maraschino a Tatter dress, which basically consists of strips of fabric, with various colors and patterns, shredded and turned into a dress or skirt. They are a thing irl, popular among faeries and ren faire goers, and I think they're so cute I've put several of my Rainbow High dolls in miniature versions of them. lol Only thing with my drawing is maybe the strips look more ribbon-like than actually ripped, but it was already a lot of work just drawing and inking each individual strip I wasn't about to add that detail to each one. >u<
