I wanted to do something related to Slavic mythology, so here it is.

A few reasons. Your use of English reflecting your own language, their conversations, and an enlightened ability of silliness.

Well, my English isn't the best, but if I was thinking that my skill in it is small then I wouldn't write in this language. So you saying that my English is good really helps with me creating new things.
About conversations - one reason would be the fact that not all Slavic demons are bad. Also my own imagination and ideas, but that's another story.
"Enlightened ability of silliness"... And I wonder what do you mean exactly, even though I know the meaning of this phrase.

*chuckles... it means your story carries its humor quite nicely in a basket of silliness. I always feel that if you can make the reader smile, you have succeeded.

I speak Polish, English and Russian on basic level. Still, I feel like there's always a room for improvement.

Good story, I guess the goat is a kind of supernatural law-enforcement officer? I've heard of the others but not chortlings and croplings? Something from Slavic mythology?

Yes, the goat (or rather chort) is a part of Veles' (who is a god) law enforcement organization. Actually, I have this concept made in more details, but... let's say that I'll tell about it in more appropriate time.
All of those demons are from Slavic mythology (there's no chortlings, but there are chorts). Cropling was a human, but made a deal with demon and became demon themselves to steal crops from others quickly and without noticing.

It's fine. I wish I'd have someone to talk about Slavic mythology.

It is an interesting subject!

Probably will try to include more of those demons in my creations. Or we can just find a place to talk about it more, like a chat.
