So it recently occurred to me that Socks having paralyzes abilities kinda ties into his relation to Red with the fact that he had a weird stungun that he uses whenever he was out of his mech. I don't know how intentional that was but I sure as hell used him to stun the crap out of bosses.

Oh the appreciation shows a ton in Fuga alone! Socks in particular was definitely made with Merveille in mind just in design and overall role, with a bit of Red with his hair color for sure.
I think the fact that Socks also happens to be very adept at stunning people is a very nice bonus that very tangentially connects the two gameplay-wise.
