03 - (Crumbling Underground)
Yet another return of the hated AI's image, but, accompanying a very much not machine-generated track, made by yours truly on the way to producing the previous entry. This was the third phase of generating the track that I found quite hard to refrain from preserving, and, therefore, I have decided it may be worth sharing here. This track, if you wish to call it that, somehow came out sounding somewhat like being back on the DC metro, but quite a bit louder, and more aetheral. It pairs some interesting high-frequency noises and odd scratching that genuinely, at least, to my ears, sounds like riding an electric transit train, but has the eerie undertones where your mind just knows something's not right. This seems to fall into the sonic uncanny valley, toying with reality and the digital world, false representations of the existence we know.
Although, I must admit, this track is merely an inadvertent step along the path to an experiment's end, some reactant, left to be blended with more plugins and copies of the same song over and over until an arbitrary end point is reached. I did not mean to make this sound, but it exists as a stepping stone to much greater things.
