This was sort of a bonding moment with my dook sona, since, despite being a shapeshifter, Patch has genetic vision problems, and so do I. And I'd say it was a bonding moment with someone else, too.
The idea for this art came about from a time when I was in the store shopping with my dad, and he asked me if I could read a sign for him that was up high with small font. My response was, of course "Can't help you there, I'm blind as a bat!" Well, my dad knows I'm a furry artist, so he jokingly replied "Oh, so you're a bat now?" And I said "I guess so!"
What can I say, I'm a highly suggestible dook. Metaphorical idioms just have a tendency to manifest themselves physically!
