This is the third picture in the cave exploration series. One really cool thing about the background in this picture is I used several pictures I've taken in real-life from various caving trips to make the background. Several of the formations, the shapes of the walls, the piles of rocks, all of it. It's a collage of pictures I've taken that I referenced to do it!

This cavern is miraculous indeed. It’s vast. So vast that our eyes, good as they may be in the darkness, cannot penetrate the voluminous extent of this cavern. Darkness shrouds every corner in mystery. Scathdain then performs the most miraculous display - he summons a brilliant, icy-blue orb of fire that floats up into the air. The beauty of this cavern, revealed to its fullest extent by his icy-blue flame, is breath-taking.
The cave look almost as if they are made of melting stone captured and frozen in time at this instant. Galleries upon galleries of folded stone line the walls. The ceiling seems made not of rock but of a thousand needles reaching out and racing towards the ground. Water streams out from the wall nearest us and into the open cave air, falling several dragon wingspans until finally it lands atop what perhaps may be the most gorgeous wall of stone I’ve ever laid eyes on. Rows and rows of pools of water cascade into one-another, the edges of which are lined with crystals that shimmer in the light. Finally, the water enters a large pool, sending ripples across its otherwise pristine, still surface.
Even with the icy-blue flame burning so brilliantly, this room is so vast the darkness still does not fully abate. The ceiling. Is that a passage? The water. Where does it go? It goes around the corner and seems to enter another dark void full of mystery and splendor. I simply could not help myself. This cavern is huge, easily big enough to fly in, and not just fly. To soar!

ty! The cave is based off several pictures of caves that I have taken from caving trips I have been on. The lighting was quite tricky in this picture, as it's probably the most mono-chromatic picture I've done. Everything is very cyan-colored, which was tricky to get to look good. I'm glad it came out well!
