also, just a thought, but are you sure that you've been "stiffed"? I mean, is it a case that they told you after you got this done that they no longer wanted it? or have they just not contacted you? because if it's the latter, perhaps they've just not been on recently?....I don't know the situation, but I know I've been in the second spot before, and thought that I had been stiffed again.....but it was a different circumstance than I thought....so just saying ^^°

Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, but I've sent him a number of emails since then with the amount and my paypal a week ago. I'll change this if I do get the money, of course, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

mmn. Yeah, sorry Prox. I've actually had a fair share of commission trouble myself, from the other end of things: cases where I've payed for work, and never received my items. Blackrat and Dalus. Dalus just vanished, so I am guessing something nasty may have happened, and I don't bear him any ill will. Blackrat, however, is still making work and completing commissions, and suddenly stopped contacting me without explaining why, so there is some soreness there.

Knowing how flaky I am with completing work, I actually refuse payment until the work is complete, but that's just me. I may not be the most efficient worker, but I at least try not to screw people over. I hope one day to be able to churn out work reliably so I can make money off it, but for now... its just a hobby and exercise in frustration.
