His ascension did not come without consequence for the world was plunged in fog and eternal darkness, creatures of the void roam and prey upon the mortals that survived the collapse. He warned them and not many listened that the "Gloaming" was coming, those that did prepared themselves but were hopeless for the gloam consumes all and they along with it. Reborn again as exponents of the Gloaming this new found community revered it as God's test to them. They know not who told them by name but only as the Harbinger of the Gloaming...
