free to use bases are found everywhere so really speaking no; it is not theft because the uploads found are of free to use. but yes; it would be considered tracing because you’re copying the shape.

and i stated it as ‘Base’, not Referenced (as in referenced off of someone elses art), i’m very thoughrough and don’t encourage theft. unfortunately i can’t draw most of my characters without an empty base to help me use proper anatomy and proportions, neither do i exactly like having to rely on drawing bases to help either, so please…. don’t accuse me of theft when i use free to use poses, or what i assume are free considering the titled upload names. Google is just the fastest and easiest way to find them. so if any poses i have are not from what i assumed was free for public use then please just link me to proof and i will remove an image, so please understand that i’m only going by what i find written down as ‘free to use’, it can take me many hours to find a suitable free of use base that fits a pose i’n looking for, so please underatand that i won’t tolerate accusations. there is no need for assumptions, not to sound blunt as i am saying this in a proper manner. next time, just link me of any proof that can help me under that any pose i have used is not actually a free of use and i will remove the image, its that simple.

to combat this miscommunication i will in future be sure to be more thorough to state bases found were of free to use search. i would rather not be labelled as a thief when it’s actually not that.
