Speaking of! Did you know that chicken eggs we buy at the store aren't fertilized? So, a chicken will lay these eggs regardless of if a male is involved. So, you're basically eating the chicken's period.

Also random fact: Chickens will actually eat their own broken eggs if given a chance. A while back I accidentally dropped one while collecting them from the chicken coop, and when I came back there was nothing left but the chickens eating something off of the ground where it fell.
