For a few years the only real artwork I was doing was making maps for the TRPGs that I was GMing. Unfortunately, with COVID the campaign kind of came to an end, but I'm still pretty proud of the work I did on these. All of my maps are drawn traditionally with ink.
A more zoomed in map I did for the island of New Camelot for my tabletop game. I had never done a fully inked local map before and had always just presented pencil sketches which tended to rely on a lot of shading to convey information so figuring out how I wanted to convey buildings, cliffs, and elevation was an interesting challenge and I feel like the results are quite decent. This too had been sitting in an unfinished state for quite a while although it was primarily missing the text box on the side that I had always been intended from the start, I just was quite lazy at getting around to it.
In my map of Skir I mentioned that they had made a blood pact with King Arthur. Well after Arthur had been wounded at the Battle of Camlann he was brought across to the magical world of Almain and ended up the island of Avalon. Here he recovered, but instead of returning to earth established a new castle naming it New Camelot. Eventually the island took on the name New Camelot as civilization grew upon it while the name Avalon became the name of the new kingdom that spread throughout the region where it is still ruled by the Pendragon bloodline.
Of course when the players arrived while trying to help the current Duchess of Skir runaway (she was young and really did not want the responsibility of running the duchy) that little blood pact between the two bloodlines came up as the Kingdom of the Avalon had become embroiled in an attack by an army of shapeshifters. Unfortunately the middle of that arc is where the campaign died and the war was left unresolved.

Oh god... probably 80-120+ hours each. There's a good reason I don't do these very often.
Also, funny thing in game. The players completely destroyed the entire bottom town. Blew it sky high. If you see that area on the west side of the town, that was the Order of the Knot headquarters and they basically released a bomb that turned it into a crater. Also, it set off a machine that filled the town with spirits and slaughtered most everyone in it. It ended up turning into this ghost avoidance rescue mission to see what civilians they could save after everything went south.
