Oh that comparison really highlights your use of colours and shape design. You've gotten more grim and realistic in this piece, but knowing from your other works, I know it's not always the case :3
Also noticeable is how you don't do brushy tufts of fur anymore, instead: you are integrating them into the character's body and allow the lines to flow naturally.
