So part 5 of the Werepix Chronicles thing is hitting a bit of a snag that i really want feedback on. Part 5 is a really busy chapter compared to Part 4. Part 4 was averaging around hour and a half to three hours per page. The total time average per page for drawing part 4 was 103.5 minutes/page. Of what I've done with Part 5 so far it's looking more like encountering around two and a half to four hours per page. It's to the extent that at the end of Part 4 I said part 5 would start uploading around late June, when now I'm thinking that's likely going to be more like late July-August.

The main issue is that part 5 is very busy. There are quite a few pages where I'm drawing 3-4 characters every panel while Part 4 had only one or two. But it's also I want part 5 to be more crowded. But the problem comes in trying to draw all the people necessary to make it feel crowded. I don't want to burn out on this comic and I want to do it well, but I know I won't be able to accomplish both goals unless I do some shorthand acts. So I want some honest opinions on if me doing something like this would be seen as acceptable? That instead of trying to force a ton of drawings of people and maybe the occasional pokemon, that I just use an easily duplicated placeholder so that people can just fill in the blank and know that there are a lot of people there, just nothing worth any actual notice. Or is there perhaps some other way you would prefer/suggest I draw crowded areas that won't bloat up the time spent on each page?
