Wrote this for  thursday_prompt. Word (well actually phrase) was "Expansive Imprint", so I decided to interpret that as "wide ranging impact." As such, we now have a controversial leader and interviews with 4 people who have differing opinions of him. Partially based on Goyaałé, more well known as Geronimo.
Wrote this in ~1 and a half hours, didn't actually come up with the idea in the shower this time funnily enough.
My Apache to English dictionary came in handy here, I might steal words from it for names so I don't have to depend on Wikipedia for that as much. Translations for words are:
Bisaláada=his company of soldiers
Ba’ Nchaahí=wolf
Nalzheehí=hunter
Łída’ołta=you (plural) complain about each other/grumble
I took a more "academic" approach to this, rather than most other stories I've written, but I'm feeling good about it, and it's good form to experiment with different types of stories.
