Reminds me of this old yellow subcompact my mom used to own. Whenever I had to sit in back I'd bring a pillow to sit on because the rear suspension was atrocious. Like, my butt felt like it was vibrating for an hour after a trip atrocious.

As a scooter rider I can relate to bad suspension. Infact I have often wondered if my yamaha jog RR even has suspension.

But does she have the time?

Having rode a 400cc machine, I feel for Star. There's only so much shocks can do. A nice hot soak can take away some of the road weariness.

As a former scooter rider I can 100% confirm the suspension on those especially the Chinese ones are terrible, on mine the front shocks were nonexistent so it would float like a Cadillac with worn shocks, the rear however was way too stiff and bone jarring. I miss my POS Chinese scooter though, it was really convenient to put around and most places didn’t care if I put it on a bike rack
