Another request from him! This time, he wanted a picture of Patch, one of the pups, using the Rock Mushroom Power-Up, which originated from Super Mario Galaxy.
I think the Fire Perdy one came out a bit better, and the reason, I think, is because while I was working on this picture yesterday, I got a message on my screen that I had only fifteen minutes of screentime left. This forced me to save a W.I.P. of the picture and continue working on it after an entire day has passed. Which, I think, really negatively impacted my work.
An artist should not be forcefully limited in how long he or she gets to work on something he or she does in his or her spare time, because it can absolutely negatively impact the end result. This is the exact reason why the screen lock sucks so much in my opinion -- I get completely cut off from my work as a digital artist.

I have a fun explanation! The pups like hanging out in the streets of London, right? And on the streets, there could be a secret tunnel leading to an underground sewer system, which happens to be a location the Mario Bros. visit sometimes, to... well... do their jobs as plumbers. 🤗
Another one I'd like to make a fan fic of, would be that the dogs go through the same sewer pipes, but end up inside a green, cilinder-shaped tunnel, only to emerge from it and discover they just exited a Green Pipe and ended up in the Green Plains of the Mushroom Kingdom! Y'know, the first world featured in many Mario 2D and 3D platformers (New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 3D World, to name a few)! 😉👍
