Eureka! A new picnic creation! Any sandwich is easily enhanced by adding a little crispy, delectable texture to every bite.
See, I heard this Broder Collie/Belgian Malinois Reede likes sandwiches and his favorite chips are the ever recognizable Doritos so why not mix both I thought? Or any kind of crisps for that matter, choose your option!
A deserving gift drawing for the kind artist
Doggedly. He draws his anthropomorphic canines in an endearing "grounded in reality" style and creates small comics with relatable snippets of life reality that is relatable to almost everyone in one way or another!

It's easy, just add you favorite chips to any sandwich for an instant upgrade!
Thank you little red fuzzball, these days I need all the motivation I can get. I'm glad I went with a more interesting POV too because I felt a "straight on level" shot was just too simple. It was a challenge though and I feel it was luck it came out good haha.

I couldn't contain my excitement (and still can't XD) when I initially saw this post. It's been on my mind since and I still am not able to fathom the reality of it all, truly I've been dumbfounded 😊
I am eternally grateful for your kindness and this amazing gesture is the cherry on top of it all. I absolutely love everything about this artwork.
The expression on this mutt's face is super cute, and Reede here looks beyond thrilled to dig into a delectable concoction. HIs furrowed brows and grinned muzzle, an excited but smug canine. Knowing me I would definitely have 2 more in the background bigger than the last ready XD
Reede's shirt is an adorable addition, wearing a shirt declaring his intentions illustrates his determination for creating the perfect sandwich to go along with his clothing worthy of devouring. He just needs to be careful, stains are a pain to deal with XD
The perspective absolutely sells the picture, it looks exactly how a photograph shot in this scenario would appear. Thinking about it, taking a picture of the sammich is a great idea. You then have a reference on how to make it again the exact same way, but also the photo is obscured by a hungry dog in the background 😆
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This means a great wealth to me, I can't give thanks enough as I'm still at a loss for words. I hope to continue drawing and one day draw as inspiring as you do here 😊

Yay! It was a total pleasure on my part interpreting Reese in all his food loving personality! He was a enjoyable to draw because of his delightfully simple and yet very recognizable sona design. [thank you for not being a rainbow glitter dog/dragon mix with feathered wings or something of the sort xD]
If I only have one regret it's the sandwich was not drawn big enough in my opinion haha. Someone like Reese I imagine would go all out on a personalized sandwich creation, something that would really make him drool and justify that look. So let's just say then that this is merely the prototype(?)
In any case I must agree he really does need to prepare himself by tying a large napkin around his neck! Maybe it's no sloppy joe but nonetheless it looks like it could get a little messy haha. I'm glad I decided a blank shirt was much too plain, especially as a gift it needed something a little more special. [same for background, while hardly exciting at least now he's not floating in empty space]
And I hoped that perspective [whatever it can be called, photograph shot is close enough] of the giant dog preparing to devour his proud creation would be much more fun than a straight on shot. A challenge but I'm glad I pushed myself a little. Again it had to have a special touch when it's a gift especially so I had to try.
You're welcome, Doggedly. I also thank you for the wonderful comments you made, and your appreciation from the drawing as a whole to even the smallest things like "furrowed brows" and "shirt declaring his intentions". It also makes me feel happy and that it was time very much well spent sweating the tiniest details like I always do in return. ❤️

Reede sure does like his munchies, and thank you for the compliment! I didn't want him to be overly complicated, infact I feel like not standing out makes him appear like a more unique mutt 😊
That sammich is plenty a good size for the canine and definitely justifies his very hungry face. Even so, he can always make another even more bigger sandwich with double everything that makes his eyes gleam with happiness 🤣
That would be a super funny cute thing for him to do, however once that sandwich was made the only thing on his mind would be to immediately bite into it than prepping a napkin ha-ha. After all, he's done this so much he's probably good at getting the stains out of his "Dorito Dog" t-shirt anyways XD
The background regardless of how simple it is, adds so much to the drawing and it complements the picnic table scene so well. The perspective is amazing , and I can't stress that enough you did such an excellent job at it 😄
Ha-ha, it really does give justice to the big hungry dog, too bad for the sandwich though XD
I can't thank you enough, I'm still filled with absolutely adornment for this wonderful gift. All the details haven't gone unnoticed, and this gift sure hasn't either. Thank you so much! 😊

Indeed, honestly these days I almost never have sandwiches or Dorito chips.
About the only time it happens is when I'm on the road, which is pretty rare these days. Ha ha.
Regardless, no problem. Whenever I see a new watch I try and comment on something from their gallery if I see something that catches my eye.
See you next time.
