Hello everyone!
Ever since Season 5 of Aggretsuko came out on netflix, I wanted to make fanart of Haida, one of my favourite boys, kind of like I did back then with Retsuko herself and it's been a project on my days off ever since. Finally I got to finish it so have the grumpy boy!
Without spoiling, Haida had a big glow-up during Season 5 in my eyes and still we saw his negative view on society and economy/politics, which is why I decided to draw him grumpy and a little "bad-ass" this time. I like his red and black striped pullover and ripped jeans, so I decided to go for them in this image while having him hold a can of beer from the ones he used to drink in Season 5^^
What an interesting image to work on and I'm honestly very happy with the result! What do you think? I always appreciate feedback^^

This is such an awesome fanart of him, I love it! The thumbnail caught my eye immediately and the full image is so nice :0 I like that you made him grumpy and a bit bad-ass, I see a lot of goofy awkward Haida, so it's nice to see something from a different side of him! And yeah I love that outfit!!!
I really like his expression in this, so tired and done with everything, but very intense! And your shadows/lighting are gorgeous!

I feel absolutely honoured and happy to hear you like this art piece so much!^^ Seriously, it means a lot to me since I love Haida's design and like seeing his character develop! I also wanted to reference an older art piece of mine with Retsuko being aggressive, so I figured I might make him look grumpy as well^^
