The date on this sketch is sept. 2021, but I never got around to color it before tis week.
Two aurochs, he's 16, she's 6 and is his promised wife. They should start making new aurochs as soon as she's of age, but both kids have a different idea of what they want of their life, so they managed to escape together.
He's in love with a young jackal wanderer boy, that is (hopefully) waiting for them in a near city with a stolen vehicle of some sort, to flee as far as they can, all together. She's just a child, and just want to be a child, and not a wife, overloaded with responsibilities, it's just scary. She's been definitely lucky, compared to many other children wives.
I like to think they'll succeed in their escape, and live happily in the end.

I tuoi storytelling mi prendono sempre.
Un particolare come le perline della bambina mi colpisce molto: sembrano voler riprendere i suoi occhi lucidi.
Le montagne per come le hai rese mi ricordano quelle di vecchie stampe giapponesi, forse anche per l'accostamento di colori freddi e caldi.
Non per guardare il dito invece che la luna 🌚 ma ho notato l'effetto simil-cornice che negli ultimi tuoi lavori digitali dai ai bordi, come se volessi ribadire le tue radici "tradizionali". È piacevole.
