Trinket Ref
Fuck it, Today is Gobbo Upload Day! I started with Eavan and said you'd meet her child real soon....well here he is and OOOH is this gonna be somethin'.
This little gremlin-sized ball of joy is as named Trinket, a Froblin based on a Supplement book released by Zito (https://twitter.com/CzBacklash/status/1533931477674639363?s=20)
he is in fact Eavan's son and outside of the hair, that's about as much similarity as they have. the majority of his looks stem from his deceased Father (unnamed and no ref of course) and of course, a Curse from his Hag Grandmother.
He was to be sacrificed to The Deep, to sail down the water as an infant and for her Patron to capture him...but someone had altered that direction to sail elsewhere, deep into a swampland and right into the clutches of a Green Hag by the name of Granhilde, who had occupied that part of the murky waters...oddly enough (minus the occasional pickpocket or spooking of travelers), Grandhilde wasn't like the usual Hag, being Kind in fact to the infant and grown a liking to him.
The one who had altered Trinket's path made herself known afterwards as Eldath, The Green Goddess. Swamplands weren't her usual grounds, but she still stuck herself out to protect these lands as well as the inhabitants in some form or fashion...she advised Grandhilde and her child (yet again, another one you will meet soon) to look after the child, as once it would be made known he had not been sacrificed, the one who had aimed to would likely seek him out again...
Gran's solution was to alter him through one of her curses. keep him concealed and protected with some newfound abilities, in time...aside from the potential threat, Trinket didn't live unhappy...in fact, his life was great, in his eyes! a loving Grandmother he calls Gran, a sometimes nice-sometimes not cousin, a Goddess he calls Water Mom or Elly (They've tried to get him to call her by her name, he can't get it right and ends up calling either title, that even SHE gave up with a chuckle)
Granted, he's a little thief, but not a bad one: just the things he finds intriguing on someone. Coins, Trinkets (how he got his name, cause he liked shiny bits so much), daggers, you name it. if it's shiny or catches his eyes, he's likely to have it now...
