I enjoy putting subjects partially out of frame. Especially if they are the focus. Gradients can be fun if you distort them in the right way.

Most of my art comes from personal experience, vague memories, just things that stand out but I really don't know why. Either that or I am being abstract or just referencing some music or movie work. Or I am experimenting with form... come to think about it I don't really know what unifies any of my work, I just go with what strikes me.
