I like the "Midnight Blue" finish. My model buildin' buddy in Illinois turned me on to a model kit of a funny car called "Son of Troublemaker" with a body based on a '72 El Camino molded in a "Midnight Blue finish. I got a "Soft Spot" in my head for old Cameros myself, and I'll bet an old '69 Super Sport would look stunning in this finish.
I agree! I saw this one in blue with silver accents, had to have it and would daily it. But she's being replaced by my 74 Catalina being I have a thing for big boaty oversized cars.
I heard of that funny car from some older dudes while at a car show, think the owner of the team that ran it was Tom Daniel? Cool car either way, I love all old schools. I'll have to check out that model kit and get back into it.
