This is... kind of a prayer I guess. I am simply not reigious, but if I could actually belive in gods, I'd worship Ganesha. He's the patronof both art and science, which suits me fine, and he's the Remover of Obstacles and Lord of beginnings,he's got an obstacle-eating pet rats and he can be bribed with rice and candy. Say what you want about YHWH, but can he be bribed with candy bar?

I used to have this guy on my pen-case before I lost it, that's why I started painting this, Ganesh needs to be honored before beginning any project. The text in the background is from an actual Hindu prayer, my favorite part of it is "You massive body shines like a million suns!" not only is he an awesome looking god, he's also secure with his weight and is even flattered by being called fat (and also radioactive apprently...)

Yeah' its weird I'd flirt with religious art, because like I said, I am not even remotely religous, thouh I did convert to hinduism once while drunk ("you mean the Kama Sutra is a HOLY BOOK? Sign me up!", so I guess it akes sense. ,,,
