Kimono Kinga Su discovered shi was now laying eggs, to hir surprise. Kim became very territorial about protecting its 'Hive' home, the Fantastic Foundation. Kim also tried to hide all of its eggs, with varying success... I still think under the lamp shade was Kim's best hidden egg.
The other heroes of the base didn't know what to think of the ever increasing pile of reptilroo eggs building up.

Yeah, I needed a quick egg reference sheet, so vola! there is was. Yeah, not just late at night, but as Kim can see in the dark, it removed all lights from its personal quarters so no one else--except those with X-ray vision--would be able to see in its room. (Though when Kimono Kinga Su had its mate, Sandy, move into its little personal quarters, there, Kim put the lights back in)
Makes you wonder, since "See in the dark" seems to be a standard ninja superpower, and the same could probably be said of the fact most animal's "Darkvision" is much better than that of a human's.
Maybe it's a combination of the two that lets him see even better i t the dark than one alone would? O_o

Well, aside from Dark vision, Kim also has X-Ray vision that can see through everything except gold, and Kim has blind sight, thanks to hir superior pheromone and bacterial emission scenting abilities, so yeah, Kim can get around in the dark. ;)
Originally, I designed many of Kim's abilities to be like one of Giger's Aliens. Kim can float in space, and never has to eat or sleep, but I still had to choose; Do I play a wannabe ninja or an alien? It was a very tough choice.
(I was surprised to see I could get away with such abilities as a starting character in Mutants & Masterminds. It's a fun system)

Kimono Kinga Su is a special form of asexual; Kim lays one egg after every time it swallows someone, and due to nesting instinct, Kim also lays one egg a month, as long as it feels it is at home. However, the eggs are not fertile unless they touch reptilroo eggs laid by someone else... like Sandy, Kim's human mate. Like all birds, Kimono Kinga Su can lay non fertile eggs without need for anyone else to get him/her pregnant.
Kimono Kinga Su never sleeps, so it's all good. Kim just stands in one place, all night long, staring at the Hero base rec room's TV screen, watching movies and cartoons without blinking or even twitching.
And with super scenting and X-ray vision, Kim keeps her eyes on a few other things too...

The character concept for one. I like exotic -and original- concepts and a scaley kangaroo-type (I forgot for a moment all the rest that's in hir) is very nice. The explanation behind the eggs, as well as why is nice.
And as for the scene itself, it's a little funny as I suspect that there is a rational part to hir that realises that hir eggs are safe if shi'd hide them or not?
The eggs look nice, not something that could or never would fit, and the reptileroo part makes it logical that they can happen.
Add to that that I've got a bit of a soft spot for your rather fluid style of art, and it's a very nice piece of art :)

Ah! Thanks for the compliment, it is my goal to get a nice fluid style, too.
I'm also glad someone has noticed this piece was mainly intended for humor purposes! :) (and the rest was meant to explain the size of a reptilroo egg)
I thought this was a hilarious image, and that's how I drew it.
Kimono Kinga Su had to eventually give up on hiding most of hir eggs, as shi realized there were too many, but Kim DID commission a large metal, clever, refrigerator storage chest unit to be built--with all that hero pension money shi had been earning that was being spent on nothing, since Kim never went shopping or into public places that might paint hir as a target by doing so. And the region that was meant to look like a motor actually hid two eggs in the bottom of it in a separate compartment, but the top part stored either food or generic jewelry.
Those eggs were NOT stolen, later, when dimensional realities shifted and all of Kim's eggs--that were in a separate, high-security room called "Kim's Egg chamber", were all temporarily turned into fancy, Fabrigae eggs, and were promptly discovered by the hero Quick Star, and given away as wedding gifts to all her guests as she married one of the other city heroes. When we got past that dimensional plot line, a LOT of heroes around the States had ended up with large, gooey, Reptilroo eggs, wondering what to do with them--Including Super(Duper)Man himself!... Kim was not happy about that, and a certain villain, through a news paper ad, managed to direct most of the eggs to be sent back to him, and thus the plot unfolded, of having to go save Kim's eggs--and eat the guy responsible for daring to collect them!

Though sitting on these particular eggs doesn't help, the kangaroo would like having a loyal thrall to sit with and watch over hir eggs. She would even swallow you whole, briefly, to make a few changes in your mind JUST to maker sure you'd stay totally loyal, but yes, it would all work out, and you could egg sit for hir as long as you wanted, after that. ;)
