Introducing my new OC's!

Brothers name is Slate
Sisters name is Shale

Both are black feathered raptors with dull gold plumage, and bronze-orange spots in a pattern on their shoulders, as well as a bronze-orange stripe going from their eyes, down their back, and all the way down both sides of the tail.
They are both 28 years old. They grew up mostly separated except on special occasions. Their parents were divorced and had split custody of them shortly after they were born. Both of them suffered abuse and mistreatment of various kinds from each of their individual parents, and when the parents were together, it would be doubly rough on the twins. Their bonding over their trauma and being the only ones to support each other would go on to be the founding of their relationship once they reconnected later in their 20’s.

Currently they are both enlisted with the Liskan Starsentinel Division. They are mainly deployed to defend space trading routes and deal with any pirates that might want to disrupt the global trade. However they will occasionally be deployed for local terran conflicts and skirmishes. They can be deployed on patrol for weeks at a time, meaning they have a lot of time to spend together. Luckily they get along quite well with each other, and enjoy each others company.
